The Artisan Series is an art competition created by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE that provides emerging artists with an international platform to showcase their work to a broader audience. Now in its 8th year, the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Artisan Series will partner with Artsy and SCOPE Art Fair to help share artists’ work with more curators, collectors, and art enthusiasts than ever before.
During the submission period artists submit an original piece of artwork online. Judges from across North America will select a group of regional finalists to be featured in each of the regional gallery events. For artists outside the regional locations, judges will select up to 100 online finalists to be featured in an online competition.
Artsy is the leading resource for learning about and collecting art. Artsy and the Artisan Series Grand Prize winning artist will collaborate on a public art installation set to debut Spring/Summer 2018 in New York City. The Grand Prize winner, Second Place Prize Winner, and People’s Choice winner will all receive custom artist pages on Artsy. To learn more about Artsy visit www.artsy.net.
The 14 regional finalists and the 2 online winners will showcase their work from December 7th – December 10th at SCOPE Miami Beach, one of the premiere art fairs during Miami Art Week.
